A humble veteran of the underground rock world, John Riccardi blends a keen sense of melodic songwriting with vital, worldly messages.  The New England-born, North Carolina based artist played in several notable Boston indie bands before taking a two-decade break to focus on his family.  This long sabbatical gave him ample time to hone his craft.  The resulting collection of songs is unique, urgent, and poignant.  Drawing on his love of everything from classic guitar rock to modern folk, John has poured 20 years of hard-earned wisdom into these songs- and it shows.  Even after all these years, John continues to grow as an artist and an individual, writing songs that can build meaningful connections with a small but devoted fanbase.
